In this episode, I spoke with Carsten, International Marketing Director of AAK. AAK is a European company that sources high-value fats for a variety of sectors, including cosmetics. Something they're known for doing really well is sourcing Shea Butter in a sustainable and ethical way, having a significant positive impact in Burkina Faso as well as the entire cosmetic industry. They were recently awarded the Sustainable Pioneer award from Ecovia at the Sustainable Cosmetic Summit in Paris for the work they do here.
